CASA BONITA
Discover the soul of Andalusia in this fully renovated village house Casa Bonita, in the typical village of Comares. Take part in village life if you like and enjoy breathtaking views from the roof terrace.
Pili and Alfredo like to invite their guests to a very special holiday experience that shows them the real Andalusia. They have decorated the house with a lot of love and you can feel it immediately when you step inside.
Comares has been voted 'Pueblo Magico d'España' because it offers its visitors, history, nature, beauty, authenticity and tranquillity.
Casa Bonita is a cosy village house but modernly equipped with air conditioning, hispeed-internet, etc.... The house is located in the centre of Comares yet in a quiet neighbourhood. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom , a cosy lounge and a well-equipped kitchen.
The roof terrace offers breathtaking views of Sierra Tejeda and the Mediterranean Sea.
The village shops, restaurants and bars are within walking distance and after just a 5-minute walk you are in the midst of the most beautiful nature. Several marked hiking trails lead you through the olive and almond groves on the mountain sides. Just outside Comares, by the way, the famous Montes de Malaga nature reserve begins.
Perhaps you would like to experience an adventure on Spain's largest Tirolina, which also has 3 via's ferrata with spectacular views. You also have free use of sports fields and a padel court. In July and August, Comares' public outdoor swimming pool is open, it is within walking distance of Casa Bonita and here you can enjoy a nice day for a small fee.
Most people here make a living from hard work on their 'campos', harvesting olives, almonds and algarroba. They will be happy and proud to show you the way they work, should you meet them on your walks. Please don't be afraid that language can be a barrier. The language of friendship is universal. Enjoy nature at its finest!

"We were welcomed by Susanna, who speaks excellent English and explained everything about the house, etc. Our host left us a welcome basket and local wine, which we really appreciated. Since the narrow streets are pedestrian and located below the square, there are plenty of safe parking spaces nearby. The convenience store Lolas, open every day, will give you a warm welcome. We highly recommend the croissants sold every morning and the nearby bar, which serves great coffee with freshly made churros and thick hot chocolate. The host provides everything you need to feel at home, and the day and night views from the rooftop terrace will not disappoint. Casa Bonita is a beautiful, well-presented house with a clever layout, similar to that of a cabin. The rooms are very spacious with plenty of storage space. A lot of thought has gone into providing everything needed for your stay, and the rustic Spanish décor includes many nice touches. A well-equipped kitchen, along with nearby shops and restaurants, gives you the choice to cook at home or eat out easily. There are many walks nearby, and the beaches are just a short drive away. The Green Olive restaurant serves excellent food — and you must try the desserts... make sure to leave room, they’re big! The bar on the square serves drinks and generous dishes. Both places are welcoming and pleasant, just like the town itself. A visit to Málaga is well worth it, and we also recommend Granada if you have a car. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend both the host and the house. Very relaxing"
