EL BORGE is a charming mountain village with a few hidden gems. One of these gems is the Galería del Bandolero, where the history of highwaymen and their adversaries, the Guardia Civil, in Andalusia during the Romantic period (17th to 19th century), is narrated. It tells the incredible tale of how romantic authors, through their stories, attracted adventurers from all over Europe to this region, where they were confronted with the harsh reality. Not all that made the area unsafe were 'Robin Hoods’. It's a unique history where brutal reality, heroism, and legends converge, an experience you can immerse yourself in at the Galería.
